Our policy on copyright and how to file a takedown notice.

Copyright Notice

Physics Optics respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our website if such claims are reported to our designated copyright agent identified below.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized on behalf of one, and you believe that copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit your claim via email to umar.bwn@gmail.com, with the subject line: "DMCA Takedown Request". Your notice must include the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL where it is located on our site.
  • Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and an email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Our Response

Upon receipt of a valid and complete notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and make a good-faith attempt to contact the person who posted it. We may also, at our discretion, terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification by contacting umar.bwn@gmail.com with a written communication that includes your signature, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.
